“I have met with the
owners of Fat Cat on a couple of occasions and have found them to be very
easy to deal with. They are down to earth and have done a great job in
ensuring that the performances are always top quality and appropriate
for the audiences. They take pride in all they do and it shows in the
way they relate to their performers, the schools they work with, and the
students who enjoy their presentations.”
—Hugh Kurz, Superintendent
Saskatoon Public School Division
“Fat Cat Productions was so great to work with and so professional.
Thanks again and I hope to work with you again in the future!” —Mandy
Parks
Port Moody Festival of the Arts
“I also appreciate how easy it was to work with your organization. Everything
was outlined very clearly and thre was very little prep needed. Therefore,
I as the SRC advisor was also able to enjoy the show and didn't have
to run around before or during the performance.”
—Kerry VanVaals
Watrous Elementary School
“...they were hard working, reliable, enthusiastic and
willing to go the extra mile... We very much enjoyed working with them
and would recommend them to other organizations.”

What
is Fat Cat Productions?
Fat Cat Productions is a progressive new entertainment company based
out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. All three owners have had many
years of experience in the entertainment industry, in both the performing
and the management ends of the business.
We founded this company because
we learned firsthand how difficult it can be to start a career as a
performer. We knew that we could use our knowledge and hands_on experience
to help develop new talent and to promote it successfully.
We are continuing to expand our organization to promote new talent and
more diverse styles of performance.
Who is Fat Cat
Productions?
Trent Funk, Tony Hughes, and Chris Martin make up the entertainment company
known as Fat Cat Productions. We met many years ago while touring across
Canada. Tony and Trent sang with the professional a cappella group STREETNiX
while Chris acted as the resident sound technician. Realizing that "being
on the road" may not be something we wanted to do for the rest
of our lives, we dreamed up the idea of Fat Cat Productions. This
company would afford a more stable life in which a creative musical
outlet would still be available to us. This organization would also
give others an opportunity to experience the same joys of performing
that we had shared.
Fat Cat Productions is constantly growing with
new ventures on the horizon. The three of us are excited with how
far things have come in the last few years and we look forward to continuing
to work with talented young artists and provide great entertainment
and presentations for years to come. |
