Students need positive role models and influences!

As you know, their role models significantly shape students' views of themselves and the world around them. More than any other role models, students are influenced the most by the entertainers and personalities they hear on the radio, watch on TV, and see in the movies. You don't need to be told that not all of these role models inspire positive values.

Students who meet HOJA get a chance to witness a very special breed of entertainers. These young men are very positive, enthusiastic, and committed to achieving personal goals and ambitions. They care about people. They respect and support each other and everyone they meet. They work hard and have achieved great success. They encourage students to pursue a wide variety of positive extra-curricular activities like music, sports, reading, and computers. They take time to meet and talk to students one on one because they know how much it means to them. They love what they do and are thankful for the opportunities they get to enjoy every day.

By inviting HOJA to perform at your school, you are giving them the opportunity to be a significant influence in your students' lives, and they take a lot of pride in living up to that responsibility.

“Our goal is always to invite those groups and speakers who are positive role models for our students and who will have an equally positive impact on our school climate. You achieved all of this... by taking the time to talk with our students after the performance you demonstrated that talented busy performers such as yourselves are also real people.”
